Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein (1879–1955) was one of the greatest scientists of the 20th century. Born in Germany, Einstein worked as a clerk before stepping into the world of technology. He became an American citizen in 1940 and taught at Princeton University. His work on the photoelectric effect won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1921, and later became the basis of tremendous developments in quantum theory and electronic technologies and the atomic age.
