About the Author

S.K. Mandal

DR. S. K. MANDAL is a management consultant, mentor and academician based in Kolkata. He has worked with the Tata group of companies, Jamshedpur, for 32 years, and has considerable exposure to senior management functions. He was a member of the management committee of Tata Steel, and retired as Director (Scientific Services). Dr. Mandal has been one of the pioneers in the country for forging ‘Industry-Institute Interactive’ programmes at Tata Motors and IIT-Kharagpur. He has served as adjunct professor with IIT-Kharagpur and as visiting faculty to many others. He has also authored many books on managerial effectiveness, effective communication, total quality management and business ethics.
